Tarot actually found me—and I’ll say that a hundred times over. It’s like it fell right into my lap. From the very beginning, there was an undeniable connection between tarot and me: a spiritual connection, a purposeful one.

My entire life, I’ve led with kindness. I’ve always truly cared about people’s feelings, offered a listening ear, and tried to provide guidance when I could. Tarot became a way for me to finally connect with my inner self and channel that energy with intention.

I grew up in New York City—a bold, creative, chaotic masterpiece of a place. It’s loud, it’s alive. There are so many different people, so many things happening at once. It’s art. It’s food. It’s music. It’s spirituality. It’s healing. It’s freedom. And that’s the magic of growing up in New York—you can be whoever you desire to be.

I’ve always had a softer voice in a loud city. I was more of a listener than a talker. And now, I understand why. I needed to find my voice in a different way. Practicing tarot helped me do that. It helped me speak through my intuition, not over the noise. It let me be bold—but in a different font.

Someone once said that reading tarot is like getting a phone call from your best friend. Whatever she’s saying, you are the one responsible for delivering that message to the person beside you. And that’s exactly how it feels.

What I’ve noticed about the tarot community is that it can sometimes feel so intense,

so serious. And it should be—because this isn’t easy. When we deliver a message, we’re using our time, our energy, and our connection to spirit. That takes work. But it’s also so worth it.

So I asked myself—why can’t tarot be fun? Why can’t it be serious and creative? Why can’t it reflect my roots, my personality, my city?

That’s how this journey began. I wanted to create something that blends intuition with inspiration. Something that honors the spirit of New York—the depth, the layers, the meaning, the mystery. New York City is like tarot. It’s unpredictable. It never sleeps, and there’s always something new to uncover.🖤
