I love engaging with my followers and anyone who visits my website or my Reddit page—and I’m always thinking of ways to make that experience fun, meaningful, and different.

One day I thought to myself, life is a journey. And growing up in New York City, we’re used to taking journeys every single day—jumping on trains, riding from one stop to the next. But honestly, no matter where you live—whether it’s the city or the country—we’re all on a journey. We’re all constantly making stops.

And then it hit me—life is literally like riding a New York City train.

Sometimes you get to a stop and you don’t want to get off.

Sometimes you’re forced off because the train’s no longer in service.

Sometimes your train is slow.

Sometimes it comes to a complete stop and sits in the tunnel.

Sometimes it speeds up and gets you to your destination faster than you expected.

And sometimes, you step off the train and realize you’ve arrived exactly where you’re meant to be.

That’s when I came up with this interactive daily reading:

“New York City Transit Message of the Day: Don’t Miss This Train. Where Is Your Energy Heading?”

I thought it was such a dope title, because whether you’ve ever ridden a subway or not—we all feel that journey. We all want to know where we’re headed. We all crave insight, guidance, and sometimes even a warning.

So if you pull a card like The Lovers, I’ll tell you: Next stop—the Lovers. Get ready for an emotional, deep, romantic connection built on a strong foundation.

But if your card is 9 of Swords, I’m going to let you know: Your next stop may be tough—anxiety, fear, or emotional turmoil might be ahead. But you don’t have to get off at that stop. Start strengthening your mental and emotional self now so you can ride through it, or skip it entirely.

This daily reading has been so much fun to create, and the love and feedback I’ve gotten from my community has been incredible. It’s reminded me that tarot doesn’t always have to be serious. It can be spiritual and fun.

We can laugh, reflect, and ride the train of life together—because at the end of the day, we’re all just trying to enjoy the ride.
